Companionship care

A friendly face, good conversation and a bit of help around the house. Companionship visits are about company as much as care.

What is companionship care?

Loneliness can creep up on anyone, especially after losing a partner or when getting out becomes harder. Companionship care means regular visits from someone who is genuinely glad to see you.

Our carers enjoy getting to know the people they visit: their stories, their families, what makes them laugh. A visit might be a chat over a cup of tea, a game of cards, a walk to the shops or a trip to an appointment. It also gives families peace of mind that someone is popping in.
